The itinerary includes an easy/moderate six day trek in the beautiful
Annapurna region of central Nepal, with breathtaking views of
the Himalayan giants, such as Machhapuchhare, the "Fishtail Mountain",
backdropped by the summits of the Annapurna ranges, and Dhaulagiri
across the Kali Gandaki gorge, seen from a look-out near Ghorepani.
After an overnight stop in Pokhara, a short drive takes you to
the Trisuli River for a two day rafting trip with an overnight
camp on one of the wide sandy beaches, followed by a two day safari
in Royal Chitwan Wildlife Reserve.
ROYAL CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK is one of Asia's best wildlife parks.
The park is the home of monkeys, barking deer, chital, sambar,
hog deer, wild boar, bears and over 350 species of colourful birds.
Elephant rides and dug-out canoe trips in search of the one-horned
rhino, crocodile, the elusive Bengal tiger and leopard are the
highlight of every trip. Quality lodge accommodation is provided
at the Baghmara Resort. Lodge restaurants are known for their
good cuisine and well stocked bar. There are colourful traditional
dance shows by local groups and slide presentations by a resident
naturalist.

Day 03 Flight to Pokhara and commence "Annapurna Panorama" trek

Day 09 To Trisuli River for Whitewater Rafting, o/night camping
on river beach
Day 10 Whitewater Rafting, p.m. transfer to Royal Chitwan Reserve,

Day 11 Safari - Chitwan Wildlife Reserve, o/night Baghmara Resort
Day 12 Safari and return to Kathmandu by express bus
Day 13 Free day in Kathmandu, o/night Hotel Moonlight
Day 14 Kathmandu, transfer to International airport if departing
BOTH THE RAFTING TRIP AND WILDLIFE SAFARI ARE OPTIONAL,
which means either can be substituted by extra trekking days.
